Hibernating
- Mitered squares blanket from oddball sock yarn (tutorial here) – an as-time-goes-by project
- Camisa from Knitscene Fall 2006 — only seaming left to do! (10/07) — Update (11/07): I started seaming and I don’t think the fit is going to work!
Thebust and shoulders are too big and the waist and hips are too small. Either something went wrong with gauge or my stupidly daring mods, or I have shrunk and grown in all the wrong places. Since I don’t want to deal with it now, I have banished it to a hangar in the corner of my office. Blech.
Frog Pond (FP)
- My so-called scarf: This is a fascinating stitch pattern and I liked the colorway of the yarn I was using. However I made one too many mistakes that I glossed over — until they accumulated and started seriously messing with my happiness. When I re-do it, I will slip each first stitch to try and neaten the edge, as well.
- Jaywalker Socks — first attempt. I didn’t like using the Louet Sport for socks. Also I made a corrugated ribbing on the cuff and the snug floats made the ribbing un-stretchy. Blech. But these are back in the queue to try again.
